About This Programme

The Daisy Initiative Roots & Rise Grant Program is a funding initiative designed to help small businesses and nonprofit organisations across the United States grow, stabilise, and create meaningful community impact.

Through this programme, the Daisy Initiative awards a fixed grant of $10,000 USD to selected applicants who demonstrate clear need and a compelling vision for how the funds will be used.

Grants are non-repayable and may be applied toward operational costs, equipment, staffing, programming, or community outreach as described in your submitted proposal.

Who Can Apply

Small Business
US-based small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Registered and unregistered businesses are both welcome to apply.
NGO / Nonprofit
Community organisations and nonprofits serving US residents. 501(c)(3) status is not required to apply.
Registration status does not affect eligibility. Whether your business or organisation is formally registered or not, you are welcome to apply. We evaluate all applications on merit, community impact, and demonstrated need.

  • Government-Issued Photo ID Driver's license, US passport, or state-issued ID card
  • Bank Statement (Last 3 Months) Business or organisational bank account statements showing recent activity
  • Project Proposal or Business Plan A document describing how you intend to use the $10,000 grant
Required — Registered Businesses Only
  • Proof of Business Registration Articles of Incorporation, LLC certificate, or equivalent state filing
  • EIN Confirmation Letter (IRS CP-575) Employer Identification Number letter issued by the IRS
Optional — NGO / Nonprofit Only
  • IRS 501(c)(3) Determination Letter If your organisation holds federal tax-exempt status

Important Notes

  • Each applicant may submit one application only. Submissions from duplicate email addresses will be automatically rejected.
  • Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Ensure all required fields and documents are provided before submitting.
  • Grant funds are non-repayable. Recipients may be asked to submit a brief impact report approximately 6 months after disbursement.
  • All information submitted is reviewed confidentially by the Daisy Initiative grants panel.
  • The Daisy Initiative reserves the right to request additional documentation during the review process.
  • This programme is open to United States-based businesses and organisations only.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

The Daisy Initiative Roots & Rise Grant Program is open to individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organisations operating within the United States. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Formal business registration is not required; however, all applicants must provide a valid government-issued photo ID.

2. Grant Amount

Each selected applicant will receive a fixed, non-negotiable award of $10,000 USD. The Daisy Initiative does not offer partial grants or awards in amounts other than $10,000 under this programme.

3. Use of Funds

Grant funds must be used for the purposes described in the applicant's submitted project proposal or business plan. Acceptable uses include but are not limited to: operational expenses, staffing, equipment purchases, programme delivery costs, marketing, and community outreach. Personal use of grant funds is strictly prohibited.

4. Application Integrity

Applicants must provide accurate, truthful information in their applications. Any submission found to contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information will be disqualified immediately and may be reported to relevant authorities. The Daisy Initiative reserves the right to verify any information submitted.

5. One Application Per Applicant

Each individual or organisation may submit only one application per grant cycle. Multiple applications from the same email address, individual, or organisation will be rejected. The Daisy Initiative uses email address as the primary identifier for duplicate prevention.

6. Document Submission

All documents submitted must be genuine, current, and unaltered. Submission of fraudulent or manipulated documents will result in immediate disqualification and may constitute grounds for legal action under applicable federal and state laws.

7. Review Process

Applications are reviewed by the Daisy Initiative grants panel. The review process is confidential. Applicants may be contacted for additional information or clarification. The Daisy Initiative's decisions regarding grant awards are final and not subject to appeal.

8. Notification

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via the email address provided in their submission. The Daisy Initiative is not responsible for missed communications due to incorrect email addresses or spam filters.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected through this application will be used solely for the purposes of evaluating grant applications and administering the Roots & Rise Grant Program. Information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

10. Disbursement

Awarded funds will be disbursed via the payment method agreed upon during the post-award process. Failure to respond to award notification within 30 days may result in forfeiture of the grant.

11. Reporting

Grant recipients may be required to submit a brief impact report approximately 6 months after receiving funds. Failure to submit a requested report may affect eligibility for future Daisy Initiative programmes.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Daisy Initiative makes no warranties regarding the availability, continuity, or outcome of this grant programme and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the programme at any time with reasonable notice.
